The ultimate objection of the 人际暴力计划 of Coahoma 社区 College is to help the campus community create effective, comprehensive responses to dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. 综合方法 includes both prevention and intervention and requires a multi-faceted, coordinated effort that engages key stakeholders from the surrounding community and throughout the campus, including 学生, faculty, staff, and administrators. 这个预防 and intervention strategy, which is informed by research and promising practices, effectively communicates to the entire campus community that dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking 将 not be toleterated.

There are different ways you can choose to intervene.

约会/Domestic violence is more than a bruised face or broken arm. 它包括:

  5. Let them know that NO abuse is ever acceptable.

Signs A College-Age Student May Have Been Sexually Assaulted

  • Between 6% to 39% of college 学生 report being stalked since entering college.
  • 40% of college 学生 responded to a poll saying they had engaged in at least one type of stalking after the end of a relationship.
  • 18 to 24-year-olds experience the highest rates of stalking among adults.
  • 学生 at a higher risk of experiencing staking include women, 学生 of color, LGBTQIA+ 学生, 学生 with disabilities, 学生 living off campus, and younger 学生.
  • Up to 80% of people stalked on college campus may know who their stalker is.
